The ground rules for using Aargoya

Terms & Conditions

These terms explain what Aargoya provides, what it cannot provide, and the responsibilities that come with using the service.

Last updated: August 18, 2026

1) Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aargoya mobile application, website, and related services (together, the “Service”) operated by Gyankaar Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using Aargoya, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Description of the service

Aargoya is an AI-guided health-information service intended to help users describe everyday health concerns, understand general possibilities, and consider appropriate next steps. Features may include:

  • Text or voice-based conversations about symptoms and health questions.
  • General educational information and follow-up questions.
  • Suggestions about self-care, routine medical review, or urgent attention.
  • Conversation history, account management, and related app features.
  • Free, trial, or paid features that may be introduced over time.

3) Important medical disclaimer

Aargoya is not a doctor or emergency service. It does not provide a confirmed diagnosis, prescribe medication, create a doctor-patient relationship, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

AI-generated responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something shown by Aargoya. You are responsible for deciding when to seek medical care.

3.1 Emergencies

Do not use Aargoya for an emergency. If you have severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, sudden weakness, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness, thoughts of self-harm, or another potentially life-threatening symptom, contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

4) AI limitations

Aargoya’s responses are produced using automated systems and the information you provide. The Service cannot perform a physical examination, review all relevant medical records, measure vital signs, or reliably detect every serious condition. Outputs should be treated as general informational guidance, not medical fact.

Never use Aargoya as the sole basis for starting, stopping, or changing medication or treatment.

5) Eligibility and accounts

5.1 Account information

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting login credentials.

5.2 Use by minors

Users who cannot legally agree to these Terms in their location may use Aargoya only through or with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Aargoya is not designed for children to use independently.

5.3 Account action

We may restrict, suspend, or close an account when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

6) Acceptable use

You may use Aargoya only lawfully and for its intended personal health-information purpose. You must not:

  • Use the Service to make medical decisions for another person without appropriate authority or professional oversight.
  • Submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or malicious content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, models, or data.
  • Disrupt, overload, scrape, probe, or interfere with the Service or its security.
  • Reverse engineer or extract source code, models, or protected components except where law expressly permits.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.
  • Misrepresent AI output as advice from a licensed healthcare professional.

7) Content and intellectual property

7.1 Your content

You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Our service

Aargoya’s software, design, branding, features, and original materials are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8) Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how information, including health-related information you choose to share, is collected and handled. By using Aargoya, you acknowledge those practices.

9) Payments and subscriptions

Aargoya is currently announced as coming soon. If paid plans, in-app purchases, or trials are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase.

Purchases made through Google Play or another app marketplace are also governed by that marketplace’s billing terms. Unless stated otherwise, recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled through the channel used to purchase them.

10) Refunds

Refund eligibility and processing are described in our Refund Policy. App-store purchases may need to be managed directly through the applicable store.

11) Service availability and changes

We aim to keep Aargoya reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued because of maintenance, security, technical limitations, legal requirements, third-party dependencies, or events beyond our reasonable control.

12) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its officers, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, revenue, profit, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use Aargoya.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

14) Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold the Company and its personnel harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or a material breach of these Terms.

15) Termination

You may stop using Aargoya at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, misuse the Service, or if continued operation is no longer practical. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

16) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or dispute process, courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction.

17) Changes, severability, and waiver

We may update these Terms as Aargoya changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised date and any additional notice required by law. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
